We at KTS Studio / Keaton Yang (凱特) are working to make our site BK-MOD (www.bk-mod.com) accessible to people with disabilities.
What web accessibility is#
An accessible site allows visitors with disabilities to browse the site with the same or a similar level of ease and enjoyment as other visitors. This can be achieved with the capabilities of the system on which the site is operating, and through assistive technologies.
Accessibility adjustments on this site#
We aim to conform to the WCAG 2.2 guidelines at Level AA. This site has not been independently audited, so we describe below what has actually been done rather than claim a certified conformance level.
Measures currently in place:
- The site is built as static HTML with semantic markup and a defined heading structure on every page
- The language of the site is declared as Traditional Chinese (
zh-TW) - All images in articles carry descriptive alternative text
- The site is fully navigable by keyboard; no interaction depends on a mouse
- Light and dark colour schemes are provided, both using contrast ratios that meet the Level AA threshold
- The layout is responsive and remains usable when text is enlarged
- There is no autoplaying audio, video, or motion
Known limitations#
We would rather name these than leave them unsaid:
- The theme song is embedded from a third-party video player, whose interface is outside our control
- Screenshots in the earliest articles (2023) were uploaded at low resolution and cannot be restored to a sharper version; their alternative text describes what they show
- The site has not been tested with every combination of assistive technology and browser
